*Wenyan definition: look under Grammar and lexicon; basically it's old-fashioned a positively ancient and scholarly style of Chinese which, while concise and beautiful, is ass to understand. Part of our middle school Chinese syllabus included translating wenyan to contemporary Chinese, that's how different it is.

[eta] What I would really like to see translated is the Philadelphia speech 'A More Perfect Union'.

The cat knows what's the most comfortable seat in the house. I bought this sofa for $10 more than two years ago from one of those Trash 'n' Treasure markets, I think somewhere around Dandenong. It is, obviously, not mine anymore.

Ended up unexpectedly at Yumekukan for countdown gathering. Karaoke was good but voice still can't hit the usual high notes, and it starts cracking after 2-3 songs after which I have to sip coffee and not talk for the next half a dozen songs before it comes back again. T.T I want to get well. Dammit. Hate.

Also I hope it is now generally accepted that Ossu! Tatakae! Ouendan! is one of the most loveable NDS games ever. Nyehehehehehe.

Voice still completely and utterly gone. Worse than it was on Sunday night. peanutcase and my sis finds it terribly amusing.
